Expensive Brew: Coffee prices expected to surge this year

ORLANDO, Fla. — Your “cup of Joe” may be a little bit pricey this week.

The increase comes after the cost of Arabica coffee from Latin America jumped nearly 2%.

The jump came after President Donald Trump said he would impose a 25% tariff on Columbia, but that decision was put on hold.

According to the World Bank, Arabica coffee had already increased by 13% in December.
