Disney to close ‘A Bugs Life’ show at Animal Kingdom

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Walt Disney World has announced it will close one of Animal Kingdom’s original shows.

The “It’s tough to be a bug!” show, based on the film “A Bugs Life” will close next month.

The 3-D show is inside the large “Tree of Life” at the park.

Disney officials confirmed the show will close on March 17 to make way for a new show called “Zootopia: Better Zoogether.”

The new show is set to debut this winter.

This is not the only major change happening at Animal Kingdom.

Last month, part of “Dinoland U.S.A” also closed.

That section of the park is being rethemed to “Tropical Americas,” with rides based on “Encanto” and “Indiana Jones.”

That new land is set to open in 2027.
