VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — State troopers are investigating a deadly crash along International Speedway Boulevard in Volusia County.
7:15 a.m. update:
Investigators said the driver of an SUV struck a 19-year-old Daytona Beach woman shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday.

FHP said a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport was traveling westbound on the outside lane of ISB, approaching Kepler Road, when the front of the SUV hit the pedestrian.
Troopers said the woman was also in the outside lane and in the direct path of the oncoming SUV.
She died at the crash site, investigators said.

The driver of the SUV, 38, of DeLand, was not hurt in the crash.
Troopers said he remained on scene following the collision.
The crash remains under investigation, troopers said.
Westbound International Speedway Boulevard is now open to traffic, FHP’s website reported.

The crash happened early Wednesday near DeLand.
Shortly after 1 a.m., troopers responded to the crash near Kepler Road.
As of 5 a.m., Florida Highway Patrol reported that the westbound lanes of ISB remained blocked due to the crash.
