Comfortable afternoon Friday before more cold air arrives this weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s another cold start Friday morning across Central Florida, but big changes arrive by the afternoon.

Winds will switch to the southeast by late morning, allowing much warmer air to surge into the area.

Highs on Friday will be in the low 70s, with increasing clouds late in the day.

Overnight lows into Saturday will only be in the upper 50s.

Our next storm system will begin to move in Friday evening.

Some scattered showers will be possible early Saturday, with the best chance for activity northwest of Orlando.

The clouds will linger for much of Saturday, with cooler highs in the mid-60s.

Dry conditions return for Sunday, with more below-average temperatures.

Temps to close out the weekend will be in the mid-60s.

Another storm system moves in for Monday, producing a slightly better chance for scattered showers across the region.

The highs will start next week in the low 60s.

Another blast of cold air is likely next week, with highs only in the 50s once again.
