Chick-fil-a donates $200k to local Orlando charity

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Today, it was announced the local Orlando nonprofit Give Kids the World was named the recipient of the 2025 Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards grant.

The nonprofit was founded in 1986 and is an 89-acre, whimsical resort in Kissimmee, Florida.

It provides weeklong, cost-free wish vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families from around the world who want to visit Central Florida.

Since 1986, Give Kids The World Village has welcomed more than 193,000 families from all 50 states and 77 countries.

The organization will use its $200k grant to help with funding, including accessible transportation, dining, accommodations, entertainment programs, volunteer services, and more.
