Central Florida fans react to the death of Hulk Hogan

ORLANDO, Fla. — People around the world are mourning the passing of a wrestling legend.

Terry Bollea, better known by his wrestling name Hulk Hogan, passed away Thursday after suffering from a cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater.

Hulk Hogan rose to fame in the 1980s for his over-the-top personality.

He helped put professional wrestling in the global spotlight with his “Hulkamania” popularity.

Hogan loved everything about wrestling and defended it throughout his life.

Hogan also opened a handful of businesses in Florida, including Hulk Hogan’s Wrestling Shop on International Drive in Orlando.

He passed away at 71 and is survived by his wife and two children.
