MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies responded to a call from a 14-year-old victim disclosing that she was sexually abused by a Hispanic male, later identified as Danhlelo Sanchez-Jose, who was arrested in Marion County for human trafficking of a minor.

During an interview, Sanchez-Jose provided unrealistic explanations and contradicting statements to dismiss the victim’s account.
Danhlelo Sanchez-Jose was apprehended during an undercover operation carried out by Major Crimes detectives. Due to the nature of these crimes and the behavioral pattern detectives observed, it is possible that Sanchez-Jose may have additional victims.

The victim advised that she was walking near her neighborhood when Sanchez-Jose approached her in his red SUV, exposing himself and urging her to enter the car.

The victim stated that she entered the truck out of fear.
According to the report obtained by Channel Nine, after the abuse occurred, Sanchez-Jose gave the victim $40 and told her to return to the exact location the next day.
