The Starlink mission launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and was the third SpaceX launch of the week.

Space Florida CEO and President Rob Long told WFTV to expect more of the same as we enter 2025.

“I think we’re just going to continue to accelerate our pace. I think the projection right now is about 150 on the schedule,” Long said.

That launch manifest includes both government and commercial launches.

Blue Origin has scheduled the first flight of its New Glenn rocket no earlier than this Sunday.

The three-hour launch window opens at 1 a.m.

Florida’s Space Coast could also see four crew missions this year with the launches of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 and Crew-11.

The private Axiom Mission 4 will also liftoff to the International Space Station and the FRAM-2 Mission will take its private crew on a journey to explore the earth’s polar regions.

That’s in addition to a ULA Vulcan Centaur launch that will carry Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser space plane and a series of lunar payload missions.
