ST. CLOUD, Fla — St. Cloud police say a female child has died after being hit by a vehicle driven by her mother.
Wednesday around 7:30 a.m., officers responded to Silver Thistle Lane near the St. Cloud Golf Links community.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a girl had been hit in the family driveway.
Officers say the girl’s mother was the driver of the car.
The child was taken to Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
St. Cloud police are still investigating what led to the accident and if any charges will be filed.
