It’s Florida, Man Season 2 announces an open casting call

ORLANDO, Fla. — After a significantly successful first season, producers invite all Floridians to submit their stories and ideas for consideration.

HBO’s It’s Florida, Man is returning for a second season and will continue to present the strange magic that makes Florida such an incredible place.

“The first thing I look for in these stories is our hero. That’s what this show is about to me: unlikely heroes – great characters who live big and take the road less traveled,” said Director Jeff Tomsic.

HBO producers are looking for stories from any genre of creativity.

Tomsic continues, “To me, Florida is almost a mythical place – filled with cowboys, outlaws, rebels, and adventurers. These people could be your neighbor, your uncle, or someone you pass on the street without realizing the incredible story they carry.”
