Hello to all you good folks of Central Florida! I’m JJ Burton, and I’m happy to be here at WFTV, and in Orlando. I’m not new to Florida. I spent the last seven years down the road from here in Tampa at WFTS. I’ve covered everything from the pandemic, hurricanes, the Bucs super bowl win, the lightning’s Stanley cup win, parades, casino ship stuck on a sand bar, and so much more. I’ve worked in Savannah, GA; Tulsa, OK; Lexington, Ky; and Connecticut. I’ve enjoyed every single city and state, and telling stories. I graduated from Southern Ct. State University in 2012.
