Reporter

I joined WFTV as a general assignment reporter in May of 2004, just in time to help the Eyewitness News team cover one of the busiest hurricane seasons on record. I moved to Central Florida to join the rest of my family. Before Channel 9, I worked as a weekend anchor, general assignment reporter and public affairs host at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina. During my time at WSOC-TV, I was honored with a Mid-South Emmy for coverage of an ice storm that blanketed the Queen City. As host of Metrolina Forum, I was recognized by the Muscular Dystrophy Association three times for raising awarness of neuromuscular diseases. I also worked at WLEX-TV, in Lexington, Kentucky as a health reporter and weekend anchor. I am a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading and researching my family history. I believe that everyone has a story to tell and look forward to meeting the many interesting people who call Central Florida home.
