ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida will be hot Wednesday as afternoon storm chances are set to go down later this week.
It will be partly cloudy in the morning with a few coastal showers.
Just like Tuesday, there will be a 40% chance of seeing afternoon rain and storms in our area.
Before any potential storms fire up, the average high temperature should reach around 90 degrees.
A tropical disturbance that is heading into the Caribbean on Wednesday will develop further over the next few days.
It could become a tropical storm as soon as this weekend as it approaches Jamaica.
This system should stay south of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
The storm could become a hurricane early next week and lift north, and potentially near Florida and the northern Gulf states.
Hurricane Fiona will clip Bermuda and then head up to Canada.
Fiona is a powerful Category 4 storm with peak winds of around 130 mph.
