UCF excited to visit Florida in NIT opener

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The UCF men’s basketball team begins their postseason journey in Wednesday night’s NIT opener at Florida.

This will mark the first meeting between the Knights and Gators since 2012. Florida leads the all-time series 10-1.

UCF has played in the NIT two times before this season. The played in 2012 and made the semifinals in 2017.

UCF lost to Memphis its last time out in the quarterfinals of the American Athletic Conference Tournament. Florida has lost seven of its last ten games without its leading scorer, Colin Castleton
