Chad Vanscoter celebrated on World Down Syndrome Day

ORLANDO, Fla. -- March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day.

It is a day that gives people with Down Syndrome and their advocates a platform. We caught up Orlando’s own Chad Vanscoter to celebrate him on World Down Syndrome Day.

Last summer in the Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, he competed in both triathlon and open water swim. He does strength and conditioning twice a week to stay in tip-top shape for his next event.

He swims, paddleboards, runs, golfs and always loves to stay active with his dad and his trainers.

Vanscoter just completed his first half marathon in Atlanta and is doing a triathlon in Gainesville on March 26.
