Tennessee’s struggles continued on Wednesday night, thanks to a huge buzzer-beater from Tyrin Lawrence in Nashville.
Lawrence, with the Commodores down by two in the final seconds, caught a perfect pass from Ezra Manjon in the corner and drilled a 3-pointer to give Vanderbilt a 66-65 win over No. 6 Tennessee.

The final play was executed perfectly, and officially gave Tennessee it’s second loss in three games.
Lawrence finished with a game-high 19 points after shooting 8-of-12 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc. Liam Robbins added 14 points and nine rebounds. The win marked Vanderbilt’s second straight after a three-game losing skid and brought the Commodores to 12-12 on the year.
