Universal’s Superstar Parade to end soon

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A popular piece of entertainment is about to step off for the last time.

Universal Orlando Resort announced that Universal’s Superstar Parade will end its run on June 4.

The parade, which winds through Universal Studios, allowed guests to get up close with characters from “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Dora the Explorer,” “Despicable Me” and “The Secret Life of Pets.” The parade also featured elaborately themed floats, energetic street performers and music.

New entertainment experiences will be announced in its place at a later date, Universal said.
