These 4 local counties have issued emergency burn bans

Brevard County is the latest to issue a burn ban on Thursday. Orange County issued a burn ban effective Wednesday, and Seminole and Osceola counties issued emergency bans last week.

All of the bans are in effect until further notice.

The bans prohibit all outdoor burning that has not been permitted by the Florida Forest Service. That means bonfires, campfires, and the burning of vegetative (yard) debris is not allowed until the ban is lifted.
