Overnight, the auto giant showed an additional 2-cent drop in the state’s average cost for regular unleaded.

If you’re filling up an empty tank at that price on Monday, expect to pay about $51.

That’s a sharp contrast to what you would have shelled out three months ago.

In mid-June, prices at the pump hit an all-time high of $4.89 per gallon in the Sunshine State.

The steady summer declines mean you’ll now pay about $22 less to fill up.

As a matter of fact, gas is the cheapest it has been since February.

So where will prices go from here? The outlook seems promising, at least for now.

“The oil market finished flat last week, which should enable the state average to continue moving lower,” AAA’s Mark Jenkins said.

“Unless fundamentals shift, Florida’s average gas price should fall into the $3.30s this week.”

And if you’re gassing up in or around The City Beautiful, you’re likely already in that range; on Monday, AAA reported the average price of gas in the Orlando metro as $3.38.
