Cupid’s Undie Run returns to Orlando; raises awareness for rare disorder

ORLANDO, Fla. — Cupid’s Undie Run is returning to Orlando for another year of raising money for a rare disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 births.

On Feb 11, hundreds of people will gather in downtown Orlando and take to the streets in just their undies to take part in Cupid’s Undie Run.

The event raises awareness of neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.

Cupid’s Undie Run kicks off with drinking and dancing, then participants will jog a mile(ish) and end it all with an epic dance party

The run started in 2010 when a group of people dropped their pants and ran through Washington, D.C. to raise money for research to help end NF.

Since 2010, Cupid’s Undie Run was created and has raised over $21,700,000 to date, with proceeds funding research through the Children’s Tumor Foundation, the world’s leader in NF research.
