ORLANDO, Fla. — Another record was set overnight — but it’s one you probably won’t feel like cheering about it.

The price of gas in Florida again landed at a new high on Friday, averaging $4.46 per gallon, AAA reported.
That’s up 7 cents from the previous day, when drivers paid a then record-setting $4.39.

Compared to a year ago, drivers who fill up on Friday will pay an extra $1.57 per gallon.

If you plan to fill up your 15-gallon gas tank, you’ll pay about $67 to do so — roughly $1 more than on Thursday and $4 more than on Monday, when gas averaged $4.20 a gallon in Florida, according to AAA.
