WATCH: Off-duty Flagler County deputy saves man who crashed after overdosing while driving

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies in Flagler County have released body camera video showing the life-saving efforts an off-duty deputy performed.

Master Deputy Stogdon jumped into action to save the life of a man who crashed while having an overdose while driving.

Off-duty Flagler County deputy saves man who crashed after overdosing while driving

Stogdon administered Narcan and performed CPR on the man until paramedics arrived.

That’s when a second dose of Narcan was given to revive him.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Stogdon got involved after the man crashed into the back of another vehicle.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating whether charges will be filed.
