Infant mortality has gone down by more than 30% in Florida thanks to one local program

ORLANDO, Fla. — An initiative created to improve developmental outcomes for little ones is celebrating a big milestone. Channel 9 Anchor Martha Sugalski is live with us now to tell us more about Healthy Start. It’s a free home visiting program here in Central Florida and across the state. It’s for all pregnant women and families with children under the age of 3 and since its start infant mortality has gone down by more than 30% in our state, so they have a lot to celebrate.
